About The Research

My research is focused on the oral drug delivery, intestinal absorption and disposition of lipophilic compounds. My current projects include:

  1. Inhibition of intestinal absorption of cholesterol by novel nanoscale aluminosilicate compounds.
  2. Pharmacokinetics, tissue distribution and activity of amphotericin B following oral administration in a novel lipid-based formulation.
  3. Effect of postprandial hyperlipidemia on the pharmacokinetics and action of clozapine.
  4. Pharmacokinetics and activity of novel antitrypanosomal compounds.
