PhD candidate Ying Wang (supervisor: Dr. Brian Rodrigues) specializes in cardiac metabolism and its regulation following diabetes.

Before coming to the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2009, Ying completed a Master of Science, specializing in diabetes metabolism (supervisor: Professor Hong Dong), with the Department of Pharmacology in Wuhan University’s College of Pharmacy (China).
